Be it a smartphone or car head lights – many products that we use daily may come into contact with water and must nevertheless continue to work reliably. Therefore, resistance to spray and splash water is an important mark of quality. You can test whether your product has this quality with the splash water test cabinet of the vötschtechnik® brands.
Using the devices of the VSPT series, spray and splash water tests can be carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0470 T1 or EN 60529 in order to test the IPX3 and IPX4 protection degrees. In conjunction with an integrated timer, the duration of the automated test process can be set between 3 seconds and 30 hours. As an option, a water circuit system can be installed reducing water consumption to a minimum level.
